Recibidas aquí las esmeraldas en la forma indicada, se limpiarán, clasificarán y pesarán nuevamente y se avaluarán por un experto elegido por el Gobierno, todo en presencia de los funcionarios mencionados; de esas operaciones y de sus resultados se extenderá un acta por duplicado. Un ejemplar de ella será enviado al Ministerio de Hacienda, otro al Ministro del Tesoro y otro a la Corte de Cuentas.
