El numeral a) del artículo 73 de la Ley 2a de 1945 quedará así:
"a) Oficiales y Suboficiales en actividad:
El diez por ciento (10%) si no tienen hijos legítimos; con un (1) hijo legítimo, el catorce por ciento (14%) ; y con más de un (1) hijo, el dos por ciento (2%) más por cada uno."
Para tener derecho a esta prima, se necesita que los hijos estén vivos, sean menores y estén a cargo del padre.
