Además de sus funciones actuales, el Procurador Delegado en lo Civil vigilará y coordinará las actuaciones que en representación de la Nación cumplan los Procuradores Regionales y los Agentes ordinarios del Ministerio Público, pudiendo asumir dicha representación, por sí o por medio de otro funcionario de su dependencia, cuando el Procurador General o él mismo lo consideren conveniente o el Gobierno lo solicite.
