Corresponde al Gobernador del Departamento de Cundinamarca y al Alcalde Mayor del Distrito Especial de Bogotá, reconocer y cancelar personería jurídica a las Asociaciones, Corporaciones, Fundaciones e Instituciones de utilidad común, que tengan su domicilio en el Departamento de Cundinamarca, y en el Distrito Especial de Bogotá, respectivamente, cuya tramitación se venía adelantando ante el Ministerio de Justicia.
