Los actos dañinos y de crueldad contra los animales descritos en la presente ley que I no causen la muerte o lesiones que menoscaben gravemente su salud o integridad física de conformidad con lo establecido en el título XI-A del Código Penal, serán sancionados con multa de cinco (5) a cincuenta (50) salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes.
