° El artículo sexto del Decreto 2655 de 1973, quedará así: Artículo 6° Podrán pertenecer a la Carrera Penitenciaria todos los funcionarios que cumplan los requisitos exigidos en el presente Decreto y que no formen parte del Cuerpo de Custodia y Vigilancia. La Carrera del Cuerpo de Custodia y Vigilancia se regirá por lo establecido en la Ley 32 de 1986. El Director General de Prisiones, los Jefes de División de la Dirección General de Prisiones y el Director de la Escuela Penitenciaria Nacional, serán funcionarios de libre nombramiento y remoción del Gobierno.
