ARTICULO 134 . Vigilancia de las unidades investigativas . El Procurador General de la Nación designará un agente del ministerio público para que ejerza vigilancia directa y permanente sobre el desarrollo y resultado de la investigación previa que adelanten las unidades de policía judicial. Cuando se trate de investigaciones por hechos punibles de competencia de los jueces regionales, la participación del agente del ministerio público será obligatoria.
