El artículo 48 de la Ley 141 de 1994 quedará así:

"Artículo 48. Distribución de las compensaciones derivadas de la explotación de hidrocarburos. LasCompensaciones Monetarias derivadas de la explotación de hidrocarburos, se distribuirán así:

Departamentos productores

22%

Municipios o distritos productores

10%

Municipios o distritos portuarios

Empresa Industrial y Comercial del Estado, Ecopetrol, o quien haga sus veces

50%

Corporación Autónoma Regional en cuyo territorio se efectúen las explotaciones

10%
