La supervisión de la educación física será función del Ministerio de Educación Nacional, con la asesoría del Instituto Colombiano de la Juventud y el Deporte en los aspectos técnicos. La comisión nacional de educación física recomendará los medios, instrumentos y procedimientos para dicha supervisión.
