De conformidad con lo dispuesto en el Título XII de la Ley 99 de 1993 y en el artículo 135 del Decreto-ley 2150 de 1995, corresponde al Ministerio del Medio Ambiente, ,a las corporaciones y a las autoridades ambientales de los grandes centros urbanos, imponer las sanciones y medidas preventivas de que trata el artículo 85 de la Ley 99 de 1993 por violación de las normas sobre protección o manejo de la flora silvestre o de los bosques.
