Las unidades de almacenes, proveedurías; depósitos, suministros o similares, que funcionen o se creen en los organismos a que se refiere el presente Decreto, tendrán como funciones únicas las de depósito, custodia y distribución interna de los bienes que se adquieran por dichos organismos al Instituto y las de adquirir directamente, aquellos bienes que conforme a las disposiciones de este Decreto se hallan sometidos a un régimen especial. Además, adelantarán con el Instituto el estudio de actualización de los inventarios para los fines previstos en el artículo 3 ordinal l) de este Decreto.
