El Archivero del Congreso será nombrado por las Comisiones de la Mesa de las Cámaras; durara en el ejercicio de sus funciones por dos años; podrá ser reelegido indefinidamente, previo informe de los Secretarios de una y otra Cámara, y gozara de una asignación mensual de ochenta pesos ($ 80).

Parágrafo

Este empleado dependerá de los Secretarios de las Cámaras, sin perjuicio de recibir y cumplir las órdenes que de acuerdo con lo dispuesto por el artículo 5° de la Ley 47 de 1915 , le comunique el Ministerio de Gobierno.
