La selección de quienes se harán acreedores a las distinciones, se realizará previa evaluación y votación por parte de un Comité Técnico, conformado por: - El Ministro del Medio Ambiente o su delegado. - El Director General Ambiental Sectorial del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente. - El Coordinador del Grupo de Gestión Urbana y Salud del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente. - El Jefe de la Oficina Jurídica del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente. - Un invitado del sector productivo seleccionado por el Consejo Gremial Nacional. - Un invitado del sector universitario.
