OBLIGATORIEDAD DE LA PATENTE DE NAVEGACIÓN. La Patente de Navegación será obligatoria para todas las naves marítimas, a excepción de

1.

Naves de carga y de pesca comercial, hasta de 10 T.A.B.

2.

Naves menores de recreo (yates), investigación o exploración científica.

3.

Naves menores deportivas. A estas naves, sin embargo, la Capitanía de Puerto de matrícula les expedirá un permiso especial para navegar con bandera colombiana, previa comprobación de sus condiciones de navegabilidad y seguridad, válido por tres (3) años.
