Una vez otorgada la autorización para celebrar el evento internacional cuya sede se solicite, el organismo deportivo interesado designará un comité organizador, integrado conforme a las disposiciones deportivas internacionales sobre la materia y las que contengan sus propios estatutos o reglamentos, del cual podrán formar parte funcionarios públicos, pero sin que su presencia implique representación oficial.
