Los bancos, corporaciones de ahorro y vivienda, corporaciones financieras, almacenes generales de depósito, compañías de seguros generales, compañías reaseguradoras, compañías de financiamiento comercial, sociedades de capitalización y los demás establecimientos de crédito que definan como tales la Superintendencia Bancaria e instituciones financieras reconocidas por este Decreto son sujetos del impuesto municipal de industria y comercio de acuerdo con lo prescrito en el mismo.
