ARTICULO 19. División de Estudios Jurídicos y desarrollo Legislativo. Son funciones de la División de Estudios Jurídicos y Desarrollo Legislativo, las siguientes Dirigir y programar estudios en las distintas áreas del derecho, en especial en derecho público, penal y privado. Dirigir y realizar las investigaciones socio – jurídicas que se requieran para la formulación de políticas. Colaborar con la Rama Judicial en la preparación de estudios e investigaciones. Evaluar la eficacia de la legislación, el impacto de las reformas, hacer su seguimiento y proponer las modificaciones pertinentes. Las demás funciones que le sean asignadas y que correspondan a la naturaleza de la dependencia.
