La compraventa de empresas de vigilancia privada o el cambio de socios, debe ser previamente autorizada por el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional. Cuando se trate de cambiar al representante legal o al gerente, la empresa informará al Ministerio de Defensa y éste lo podrá objetar, caso en el cual, se deberá proceder de inmediato a su reemplazo.
