ARTICULO 108. Prescripción de la Acción Civil. La acción civil proveniente del delito prescribe en veinte (20) años si se ejercita independientemente del proceso penal y en tiempo igual al de la prescripción de la respectiva acción penal, si se adelanta dentro de éste.
