Ley 55 de 1922 · por la cual se ceden baldíos a los Departamentos con destino a la fundación de colonias penales

Cedense al Departamento del Tolima cuatro mil (4,000) hectáreas de terrenos baldíos para la fundación de una colonia penal y agrícola, en el sitio de La Soledad, al sur de Ata, en jurisdicción del Municipio de Ataco, comprendiendo esta cesión el terreno que hoy ocupa dicho Departamento con los trabajos preliminares y obras de una colonia penal.

Si los baldíos en ese sitio no alcanzaren a cuatro mil (4,000) hectáreas, el resto se cederá en algún otro lugar del Departamento, pero siempre para el mismo objeto, o sea el establecimiento de colonias penales y agrícolas.
