Las federaciones deportivas nacionales establecerán, por reglamento, la naturaleza y modalidades del examen médico previo a la competición, las categorías de edad de los competidores y las condiciones en las cuales pueden ser admitidos para participar en competiciones de una categoría de edad superior. Igualmente determinará la clase de información no sujeta a reserva médica que debe contener el certificado respectivo.
