ARTICULO 158 . Intégrase la Dirección Nacional de Medicina legal del Ministerio de Justicia, con sus dependencias y Seccionales a la Fiscalía General de la Nación, como establecimiento público del orden nacional adscrito a ella, dotado de personería jurídica, patrimonio propio y autonomía administrativa. Este establecimiento público se denominará en adelante Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses.
