Será potestativo del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional amparar, por conducto del Comando General de las Fuerzas Militares, las armas de uso privativo de las Fuerzas Armadas con destinación exclusiva a coleccionistas, asociaciones deportivas y de cazadores y organizaciones de la Defensa Civil, mediante el lleno de los requisitos exigidos para tal fin.
