El Congreso de Colombia, honra y exalta la memoria del doctor Antonio José de Jesús Cadavid Angel, eminente colombiano, destacado hombre público y connotado jurista, y quien con su vida meritísima enalteció diversas posiciones ejercidas con dignidad, austeridad e idoneidad. Cuando va a cumplirse el primer centenario de su nacimiento, encuentra propicio relievar su existencia fecunda y útil al servicio del país.
