Solo se expedirá documento de viaje en las siguientes circunstancias: • Por primera vez. • Por vencimiento, o cuando la vigencia del pasaporte sea inferior a un año al momento de hacer la solicitud. • Por daño que impida su uso. • Por robo o pérdida. • Cuando el pasaporte vigente no cuente con las páginas suficientes para tramitar visados. • Por alcanzar la mayoría de edad. • Por aprobación de la Dirección de Asuntos Migratorios, Consulares y Servicio al Ciudadano o la oficina que haga sus veces o la sustituya.
