Para obtener el grado de Subteniente de las Armas en el Ejército o de Vuelo en la Fuerza Aérea y de Teniente de Corbeta o subteniente de Infantería de Marina en la Armada, es requisito indispensable haber cursado y aprobado los estudios reglamentarios en las respectivas Escuelas de Formación de Oficiales y ser propuesto para tal grado por el Directo o Comandante del Instituto.
