Tales sumas ganaran un interés del seis por ciento (6%) anual, que la Nación pagará a los Departamentos que esta Ley autoriza. Los intereses se liquidarán sobre las sumas invertidas en cada trimestre, desde el primer día de éste hasta la fecha en que fueren reintegradas a los Departamentos constructores.
