- Primero. Confirmar, por la razón expuesta en la parte motiva, el fallo proferido por la Sala Civil del Tribunal Superior de Bogotá el 24 de mayo de 2000, por medio de la cual se negó la tutela impetrada por los agentes oficiosos del señor Carlos Guillermo Betancourt Montengro.
- Segundo. Remitir copia de esta providencia a la Fiscalía General de la Nación, a fin de que esa entidad investigue si, como afirman los actores, la causa médica de la muerte de Carlos Guillermo Betancourt Montenegro fue desatada por el traslado de dicho paciente de la sección de cuidados intensivos a las salas de recuperación.
- Tercero. Por Secretaría, líbrese la comunicación prevista en el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
