- Primero. CONFIRMAR el fallo del 4 de agosto de 1999, proferido por la Sala Civil del Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Cali, por medio del cual se concedió el amparo del derecho de petición.
- Con el fin de proteger el derecho a la vida, se adiciona el fallo en el sentido de ordenar al Seguro que siga prestando la atención en salud mientras Octavio Valencia Patiño sea cobijado efectivamente por la pensión que ha solicitado.
- Segundo. DESE cumplimiento a lo previsto en el artículo 36 del Decreto 2591 de 1991.
