El Procurador Auxiliar para Asuntos Constitucionales solicitó a la Corporación copia del expediente de la referencia, con el objeto de preparar la intervención que en el mismo pretende hacer la Procuraduría General de la Nación.
El magistrado sustanciador negó la petición, fundamentado en la decisión de reservar la identidad de las partes involucradas en dicho asunto y limitar la posibilidad de que personas y autoridades ajenas al proceso accedieran al expediente u obtuvieran copias del mismo.
El Jefe del Ministerio Público presentó una nueva solicitud que denominó “recurso de súplica” contra el auto que rechazó la petición de copias.
La Corte RECHAZA, por improcedente, este recurso, por dirigirse contra una providencia diferente de aquellas que rechaza una demanda presentada en el ejercicio de la acción pública de inconstitucionalidad.

- Primero. RECHAZAR, por improcedente, la solicitud que el Procurador General de la Nacion formulo como "recurso de suplica" contra el auto del dos (2) de agosto de dos mil dieciseis (2016), mediante el cual se rechazo una solicitud de copias en el tramite de la referencia.
