Solicitud de revisión de la sentencia C-035/16.
El Alcalde del municipio de Vetas (Santander) pidió a la Corporación suspender provisionalmente y de manera extraordinaria los efectos del precitado fallo, hasta tanto se defina de fondo la situación socio económica de los habitantes de su municipio.
Así mismo, solicitó revocar dicha providencia y, en su defecto, aceptar como derechos adquiridos las explotaciones mineras existentes.
Por no ser procedente el recurso extraordinario de revisión contra las sentencias proferidas en ejercicio del control abstracto de constitucionalidad, la Sala Plena decidió RECHAZAR el formulado en esta ocasión.
