En el presente caso la Sala Plena de la Corporación advirtió que los procesos ICC 5089 e ICC 5090 hacían parte de varios expedientes que habían sido previamente escindidos y remitidos por la Sala Penal de la Corte Suprema de Justicia a otras autoridades judiciales del país.
Por lo anterior, consideró necesario acumular los precitados procesos para que se unifiquen en un solo expediente.
Lo anterior, en la medida en que corresponden a una misma controversia y resolverla de manera separada podría generar varios pronunciamientos sobre un mismo asunto, lo cual podría afectar los principios de celeridad, eficacia y seguridad jurídica.
Con base en lo anterior, se ordenó a la Secretaría General de la Corte Constitucional anular el registro correspondiente al ICC 5090 y acumular dicho expediente al ICC 5089 que se encuentra en trámite en el despacho del magistrado Miguel Polo Rosero.

- SEGUNDO. ORDENAR a la Secretaría General de la Corte Constitucional ACUMULAR el expediente correspondiente al ICC-5090, al expediente ICC-5089 que se encuentra en trámite en el despacho del magistrado Miguel Polo Rosero.
