º De la destinación de los excedentes. Los excedentes que resultaren mediante, la forma determinada en el artículo anterior, se aplicarán prioritariamente a absorber déficits patrimoniales acumulados de períodos anteriores, constituir una reserva especial para proteger el patrimonio, crear reservas y fondos institucionales establecidas estatutariamente con el fin de mejorar y mantener sus activos fijos, cumplir con las obligaciones con terceros y al mejoramiento de los servicios de salud dentro de los fines propios de cada entidad.
