Art. 14. Los huérfanos o sus respectivos tutores o curadores i cualquier pensionado pueden optar entre la pensión a que tengan derecho a una beca en uno de los establecimientos de educacion costeados por la Nación, según su sexo, i los respectivos estatutos, por el tiempo necesario para hacer una profesion o emprender algún arte u oficio. En este caso es de cargo del Tesoro nacional el gasto de viaje, vestido i útiles necesarios para el pensionado, que pasará a ser alumno oficial en el respectivo establecimiento.
