La asignación básica señalada en la escala de que trata el artículo anterior se aplicará a las distintas categorías de empleos del instituto, siempre que a sus titulares no les corresponda una remuneración superior en virtud de lo dispuesto en el Decreto extraordinario 193 de 1982 o del aumento surgido de la Convención Colectiva de Trabajo vigente, suscrita de conformidad con lo previsto en el artículo , 3º del Decreto 1651 de 1977.
