Los pasaportes ordinarios y fronterizos expedidos en el exterior llevarán la firma del Jefe de la Oficina Consular y la del funcionario que le siga en orden jerárquico. En las oficinas consulares donde no haya sino un solo funcionario nombrado por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, éste suscribirá y sellará el documento cuantas veces sea necesario.
