El peatón al atravesar una vía, lo hará por la línea más corta, respetando las señales de tránsito y cerciorándose de que no viene ningún vehículo que ofrezca peligro para el cruzamiento. Dentro del perímetro urbano el cruce deberá hacerse en las bocacalles, y por las zonas demarcadas, si las hubiere.
