Art. 4.° El Tesoro general de la Union, con el aviso de la imposicion ordenada por la Secretaría del Tesoro, hará en sus libros las respectivas descripciones y pedirá inmediatamente á la oficina de Hacienda donde se hizo el entero del censo, el envio de la suma enterada, la cual se pondrá en el Banco nacional, ó, en defecto de éste, en otro que se designe por el Secretario del Tesoro, en calidad de depósito, al interés corriente.
