Las disposiciones de la Ley 37 de 1932 y las de la presente Ley, se aplicarán a las obligaciones a favor o a cargo de las compañías de seguros, provenientes de contrato de mutuo o ventas a plazo, quedando expresamente exceptuadas las obligaciones nacidas del contrato de seguro mismo o de mutuo celebrado sobre las pólizas de las compañías.
