Ley 27 de 1947 · Por la cual se planifica y Nacionaliza la lucha contra la tuberculosis

Los Dispensarios Antituberculosos se ocuparán de:

a). Examinar, con auxilio de la clínica laboratorios y demás elementos de que dispongan, a todas las personas que les lleguen en calidad de sospechosas;

b). Hacer los tratamientos ambulatorios de los casos que por ese medio puedan ser atendidos;

c). Hospitalizar en el Hospital -Sanatorio respectivo a los enfermos que necesiten tal servicio;

d). Vigilar los hogares de los enfermos y procurar que la Liga Antituberculosa Colombiana o cualquiera otra entidad que busque la asistencia de los desvalidos, presten la necesaria ayuda a los parientes del hospitalizado.
