Previo concepto de la Junta Asesora de la Policía Nacional, o de la Dirección General de la Policía, respectivamente, los Oficiales y Suboficiales de Vigilancia podrán cambiar a solicitud propia y por una sola vez al Escalafón de los Servicios hasta los grados de Mayor o Sargento Primero, inclusive. La novedad de los Oficiales será dispuesta por Decreto y la de los Suboficiales por Resolución Ministerial.
