El Gobierno Nacional establecerá premios y estímulos no tributarios para las personas o instituciones que con sus acciones y trabajos técnicos, culturales o científicos contribuyan a la salvaguarda, difusión o incremento del patrimonio documental del país, así como a los autores de estudios históricos significativos para la historiografía nacional elaborados con base en fuentes primarias. Tales premios y estímulos podrán consistir en: becas, concursos, publicaciones, pasantías, capacitación y distinciones honoríficas.
