El funcionario o empleado público que forme parte de comités, juntas o directorios políticos, o intervenga en debates o actividades de este carácter, será sancionado disciplinariamente con la pérdida del empleo aunque pertenezca a una carrera de servicio y sin perjuicio de la sanción prevista en el artículo 158 del Código Penal.
