Plan Especial de Manejo y Protección. Cuando se efectúen las declaratorias de áreas arqueológicas protegidas se aprobará por medio del Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e Historia (ICANH), un plan especial de manejo y protección, de conformidad con la Ley 397 de 1997, 1185 de 2008 y el Decreto Reglamentario 763 de 2009, el cual indicará el área afectada y su área de influencia, los niveles permitidos de intervención e incorporará los lineamientos de manejo para la protección, gestión, divulgación y sostenibilidad del mismo.
