En ejercicio de las facultades consagradas en el artículo 326 del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero, la Superintendencia Bancaria velará porque los establecimientos de crédito suministren a los usuarios de tarjetas de crédito la información necesaria, en especial en materia de plazos y tasas de interés, que permita una adecuada transparencia en el manejo de la operación.
