Los accionistas podrán ejercer el derecho de inspección o vigilancia, personalmente o por conducto de sus representantes o mandatarios, dentro de los ocho días hábiles inmediatamente anteriores a las secciones de la asamblea general en que hayan de considerarse el balance, el inventario y las cuentas que los administradores deben prestar periódicamente. Los estatutos podrán ampliar, pero no restringir, este término. También podrá permitir el ejercicio de este derecho en otras oportunidades.
