° Para efectos del artículo 1° de la Ley 20 de 1979, El Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística certificará el incremento porcentual del índice nacional de precios al consumidor para empleados en el periodo comprendido entre el 1° de septiembre del respectivo año gravable y la misma fecha del año anterior, mediante comunicación a la Dirección General de Impuestos Nacionales dentro de los cinco (5) primeros días del mes de septiembre del respectivo año gravable.
