Art. 2.º Son funciones de la Junta

a)

Manejar el Teatro con todos sus enseres y dependencias;

b)

Dictar las medidas orgánicas que tenga á bien para el buen servicio y conservación del edificio;

c)

Fijar el número de empleados, asignarles sueldos, nombrarlos y removerlos libremente;

d)

Calificar el mérito artístico de las Compañías dramáticas ó líricas que deseen dar representaciones en el Teatro;

e)

Celebrar contratos con las Empresas, estipulando el término de duración de ellos, el cual no será mayor de seis meses, pudiendo prorrogarse;

f)

Reunirse una vez por semana y cuando la convoque su Presidente;

g)

Exigir de los empresarios fianzas personales para garantizar la conservación del Teatro y sus enseres, é imponerles todas las demás condiciones que juzgue convenientes.
