Dirección Marítima. A la Dirección Marítima, DIMAR, dependencia interna del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, con autonomía administrativa y financiera, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 54, literal j) de la Ley 489 de 1998, le corresponde, de acuerdo con las directrices impartidas por el Ministro de Defensa Nacional, ejercer las funciones señaladas en las disposiciones legales vigentes, en coordinación con la Armada Nacional.
