Los laboratorios nacionales de referencia, conforme a sus competencias, llevarán a cabo las actividades de control de calidad para los exámenes de interés en salud pública de acuerdo con lo establecido por el Decreto 2174 de 1996 por el cual se organiza el Sistema Obligatorio de Garantía de Calidad del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud.
